Bravium’s Knowledge 2021 Digital Experience in Review

Writer's picture: David SmethyDavid Smethy

2021 saw another Knowledge conference brought completely online. Thankfully, ServiceNow did a great job overall continuing to share their message and that of their partners at this important annual conference. From May 11th - 20th, attendees flooded onto the digital experience, exploring what’s new on the ServiceNow platform.

Given our highly successful physical presence at Knowledge of years past, Bravium was proud to be one of only 20 app partners to sponsor this years’ online event. Our partner page gave us the opportunity to not only provide a brief background of our flagship product, the Best Practice Engine, but also share some incredible stories from our clients, like Toyota and FLEETCOR. In the end, we were visited by attendees from 10 different countries and had the chance to meet people from all types of industries and backgrounds. If you haven't yet, visit our partner page from Knowledge 2021 here.

While we were proud to share great stories of our own, we were also inspired by many of the outstanding sessions and content that was available from Knowledge this year. Below, we share a few of the sessions that really stood out to us:

Knowledge Opening Keynote: Workflow your world

“Workflow has rapidly risen to become the hero of the modern enterprise.” As many organizations transform their IT systems with ServiceNow at the forefront, employing the needed tools and assistance to protect their investment has become a must. Bravium is proud to have grown with ServiceNow in this past year, serving new clients with innovative solutions. Watch as ServiceNow CEO Bill McDermott and his colleagues share the many ways that the ServiceNow platform and its workflows have brought positive change to the world as we grappled with the pandemic. Bravium is really excited by what Bill has said and continues to do and we are excited to continue helping customers meet and exceed their goals.

Citizen Developer Governance – 4 Part Series by Mark Tognetti

Considering how to leverage citizen development as a faster way of building effective solutions? It takes deep consideration and knowledge on the ins and outs, which is why this 4-part session with Mark Tognetti, Director of Platform Enablement at ServiceNow, is such a great resource! In addition to introducing the concept of citizen developers, Mark discusses the need for governance and the crucial role a well-maintained instance enables the citizen developer model in an organization’s instance. We find it speaks directly to the value our own Best Practice Engine delivers for customers: keeping an instance in the best possible shape it can be in to drive success for an organization.

Creating an inclusive workplace

Bringing in employees with varying backgrounds and experiences promotes the growth of new and better flows at work. Watch as Lara Carimi, Chief Customer and Partner Officer at ServiceNow, and Penelope Prett, CIO at Accenture, discuss how their respective organizations are initiating company-wide efforts to make the technology of tomorrow more widely available for minority and under-represented populations. As we have seen firsthand at Bravium, diversity is at the heart of innovation.

Back to why: Leveraging App Engine low code to return purpose to work

UW Health has been hard at work through this pandemic, taking on critical projects that aid the effort to end COVID-19. In this session, platform owner David Wilcher discusses their success using the App Engine to develop more than 20 applications that meet their operation’s needs to be successful. Fast innovation toward critical solutions like this requires a well-run, healthy instance. Bravium is proud to partner with UW Health as they are on the path to continued success through the pandemic and beyond.
